Author, adoptee, practicing buddhist
My journey is woven from distinct yet deeply interconnected threads. As a Korean adoptee, I have spent a lifetime navigating the nuances of identity, belonging, and heritage. This personal exploration naturally fueled my career as a journalist, where I dedicated years to uncovering truths, sharing human stories, and finding clarity amid complexity.
Today, my path is grounded in Buddhist practice. I am honored to serve as the current Chairman of the Board at The Dharma Centre of Canada, one of North America’s oldest non-sectarian meditation sanctuaries. In this role, I help nurture a living community dedicated to consciousness, universal truth, and the path to liberation.
Whether through the written word, communal leadership, or silent contemplation, my work centers on a singular mission: fostering profound awareness, compassion, and meaningful connection in an ever-changing world.
